Project results evaluation
The project aimed to increase capacity and improve the infrastructure owned by the participating institutions to provide the necessary experimental services for the Fermilab laboratory. The institutions involved in the project provide the experiments at Fermilab with the necessary detector and electronics laboratory, where it is possible to produce smaller mechanical and electronic components and test detector components. They also provide computational capacity for simulation and data processing on computational farms and co-create new statistical methods of data processing and filtering. Czech institutions also participate in the design, construction, testing, commissioning, operation, maintenance and upgrade of detectors for particle physics experiments in the Fermilab laboratory. The supply of computing capacity for experiments at Fermilab continues a more than ten-year tradition and the experiments are very well evaluated.
