Project results evaluation
The project contributed to the modernization of teaching and research in the field of Geodesy and Cartography. It helped to solve the problem of obsolescence of hardware and software. The project also enabled the fulfillment of licensing conditions, under which it is possible to use a number of modern technologies and devices. By improving the technical base, the main goals of the project were met, both for research and development and for teaching. Newly supported laboratory equipment was purchased, which is important for the location and handling of expensive instrumentation infrastructure. The project has moved the field into the 21st century to a level comparable to developed countries. The technical situation in the field of Geodesy and Cartography has improved to such an extent that interest in the newly accredited research-oriented doctoral study program has increased significantly.
