Hranice literární vědy: literární komunikace a kulturní transfer

The project succeeded in supporting the foreign mobility (outing) of senior and junior researchers, focusing on research into the specifics of literary communication in a broader media context and on cultural transfer in literature and literary science. We managed to strengthen the international cooperation of the Institute for Czech Literature of the ASCR with foreign workplaces and at the same time increase the competitiveness of the institution within the framework of international literary science. Four researchers were involved in the workplaces at Columbia University in the City of New York, Freie Universität Berlin, the University of Maryland and New York University. The research focused, for example, on the relationship between Czech and Anglo-American modernism and the use of methods of transnationalism, intermediality, as well as on transmediality in the context of cultural communication and cultural transfer.
