    Cílem projektu, který obsahuje tři dílčí výzkumné záměry, je předaplikační výzkum v oblasti vývoje, přípravy, optimalizace a testování použitelnosti speciálních kompozitních materiálů schopných detekovat, respektive odstranit, nebezpečné látky ve vodě, ovzduší, půdě a průmyslových provozech. Tyto speciální materiály umožní zvýšit kvalitu života, bezpečnost obyvatel a atraktivitu v ostravské aglomeraci. Výsledky projektu budou moci být využity aplikační sférou i různými bezpečnostními složkami.

    The project dealt with pre-application research in the field of development, preparation, optimization and testing of applicability of special composite materials capable of removing hazardous substances in water, air, soil and industrial plants. These special materials will improve the quality of life in the Ostrava agglomeration. The achieved results have been published in professional journals, presented as papers at international conferences, or published in publications from professional conferences. An adsorbent has been defined, which has not been described in the literature or patents so far. Its adsorption properties were verified and a patent application was filed. Furthermore, optimized procedures for the realization of adsorption experiments, the preparation of magnetic forms of the adsorbent from originally non-magnetic material were developed and a number of practical experiences were obtained which can be used in further research.
