V rámci projektu bude umožněn výjezd vědeckého pracovníka ČZU na zahraniční vědeckou instituci Medizinische Universität Wien a řešení výzkumného projektu předloženého do schématu MSCA-IF programu H2020. Cílem návrhu výzkumného projektu je objasnit roli skupiny nedávno identifikovaných proteáz motolic nazývaných prolyl oligopeptidázy a zjistit, jak proteázy interagují s hostitelem. Důležitým aspektem je navázání spolupráce s evropskou institucí a kontribuce k vývoji léků/vakcín.

The main topic of the whole project (elucidation of the role of moth proteases called prolyloligopeptidases (POPs) and their interaction with the host) is still being addressed in cooperation with MedUni at the CULS and at the cooperating workplace of the ASCR. The benefits of mobility were also new contacts established during the stay at MedUni. The researcher got into a team that published an article in prestigious scientific journal, Nature Immunology. The project established cooperation between the CULS applicant in Prague and the Medizinische Universität Wien. Links between laboratories from the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany were built and the cooperation of research groups on several research topics was started. Collaborating laboratories include German laboratories from Justus Liebig University in Giessen and Medical University Rostock. Furthermore, cooperation was established with the laboratory of Dr. Anthony O’Donoghue of the University of California, San Diego.
