Project goals
Basic, partially applied research in the field of design and assessment of structural materials, structural systems and next systems; it includes mainly the development of new structural materials, diagnostic methods for assessment of structural materials and structures, the development of new technologies in the field of water and waste management, the formulation of mathematical, physical and computational models of processes relevant to quantification of reliability, lifetime and durability of civil engineering structures.

Project results evaluation
The project significantly contributed to the sustainability of complex centrum in the field of civil engineering, unique in CZ. Personal resources have been mobilized in both basic and applied research. The volume of contract research increased substantially during the solution of the project. The number of publications in journals with impact factor increased greatly and the trend to publish in high-quality journals (Q1, Q2) has been initiated. Application and realization of research projects, mobilities and cooperation projects with industry were stimulated during the solution of the project. Totally 1173 results have been created, 746 mobilities realized and 82 projects solved. The project supporting the centrum changed outdated infrastructure and their usage for scientific, research and technical activities of the faculty. It had international consequences and cooperation with foreign institutions significantly increased.
