Project results evaluation
The project focused on application of phase change materials (PCMs) in solar air systems. A numerical model of a solar air collector with solar absorber containing PCMs was created and an experimental version of such a collector was built and tested under real climatic conditions. A numerical model of a PCM-based heat storage unit for solar air systems was developed.
