Centre for alternative environment friendly high effective polymer antimicrobial agents for industrial applications
Project goals
The strategic OBJECTIVE of the project is to create a Centre realizing the regular transfer of the R&D results in the industrial practice, thus enabling THE CZECH REPUBLIC TO BECOME A EUROPEAN LEADER IN ANTIMICROBIAL SOLUTION. The Centre has ambitions to develop technologies applicable for wide spectrum markets. Three component objectives (see SRA) include: long-term collaboration; realization of interdisciplinary and complementary R&D; education, international collaboration and horizontal mobility of researchers. Objectives can be further specified by the aim of the project which is in a laboratory and a quarter operating scale industrial research and development procedures to prepare: i) Antimicrobial paint coatings including hygienic coatings and Antimicrobial food foil. ii)Polymer based antimicrobial agents for cosmetics, Silver based antimicrobial agent for cosmetics iii) Antimicrobial functional systems synthesized into the functional finishing of textiles. All objectives will be reached by the end the project.
