IoT Based Intelligent Store
Project goals
The main objective of the project is to develop and apply modern technical equipment and software tools used in the Industry 4.0 and IoT in an environment of retail and "store of the future" where digital elements such as screens, sensors and mobile devices, smart glasses, etc. are interconnected and they work together to create a comfortable and tailored shopping experience. Research will focus on localization of shopping carts in an area of shops and visualization of their routes. Using VR and AR to display additional data for a customer in the store (extended information about products, composition, origin, allergens, etc.). Development of a fully automated cash register, which allows load goods tagged by RFID and developing RFID tags to demonstrate the thermal exposure of goods.

Hlavním cílem projektu je vyvinout a aplikovat moderní technické prostředky a SW nástroje používané v Industry 4.0, IoT v prostředí retailu a „obchodech budoucnosti“, kde digitální prvky, jako např. obrazovky, senzory a mobilní zařízení, inteligentní brýle apod. jsou vzájemně propojeny a pracují společně na vytvoření příjemného a na míru šitého zážitku z nakupování. Výzkum se zaměří na lokalizací nákupních vozíků na ploše prodejny a vizualizací jejich tras. Využitím VR a AR pro zobrazování doplňujících dat pro zákazníka v obchodě (rozšířené informace o výrobcích, složení, původ, alergeny, apod.). Vyvinutím plně automatické pokladny, která umožní načítat zboží označené pomocí RFID technologie i vyvinutím RFID tagu pro potravinářské účely k prokazování teplotní expozice zboží.
