The effect of fermentative processes and aerobic stability of maize silage on the content and digestibility of neutral detergent fibre and starch
Project goals
Jointly prepare an international project of basic research with aim to study the quality of maize silages, in particular the influence of fermentation processes and aerobic degradation processes on the content and digestibility of neutral detergent fibreand starch by using of modern analytical techniques and sophisticated computer programs, especially multi-dimensional data correlation. Understanding of these influences will contribute to a better utilization of corn production capacity and reduce undesirable processes during maize storage. Partial aims are exchanging of information, preparation of corporate publications in the Czech and Slovak professional (popular) journals and contributions to scientific conferences, the mutual use of instrumentation and laboratory equipment and providing of data from database of chemical analysis to complete the other?s database.

Project name in Czech
Vliv fermentačních procesů a aerobní stability kukuřičných siláží na obsah a stravitelnost neutrálně detergentní vlákniny a škrobu
Annotation in Czech
Společně připravit mezinárodní projekt základního výzkumu, který by byl zaměřen na studium kvality kukuřičných siláží, konkrétně na vliv fermentačních procesů a procesů aerobní degradace na obsah a stravitelnost neutrálně detergentní vlákniny a škrobu svyužitím moderních detekčních analytických metod a sofistikovaných počítačových programů, především korelace vícerozměrných dat. Hlubší poznání těchto jevů přispěje k lepšímu využití produkčních schopností kukuřice a k omezení nežádoucích procesů při jejím skladování. Dílčími cíly bude výměna informací, příprava společných publikací v českém i slovenském odborném tisku a příspěvků na vědecké konferenci, vzájemné využívání přístrojové a laboratorní techniky a poskytnutí údajů z databanky chemických analýz pro doplnění databanky druhé strany.
