Functional materials based on bicyclo[1.1.1]pentan rotors: organization and dynamics
Project goals
The goal of this project is the exploration of interactions between rotatable dipoles contained within crystalline solids with their other properties, specifically conductivity in semiconductors and metallic conductors, magnetic properties in materials containing unpaired spins, and with optical properties that might lead to non-linear effects.
