Gas sensors for breath analysis
Project goals
The base objective of this project is to enhance current techniques for breath gas analysis. Instruments of this technique belong usually to expensive devices. The project will focus on enhancing the selectivity and sensitivity of cheap commercial conductometric sensors (called chemiresistors). and possibilities of proposing new prototype gas sensor. We will provide experimental and theoretical studies of electrical charge transport and its fluctuation in sensors structures including DC and AC components, representing resistance and a resistance noice power spectrum.

Plynové senzory pro analýzu dechu
Annotation in Czech
Základním cílem tohoto projektu je zdokonalit stávající techniky analýzy lidského dechu. Zařízení analyzující dech patří obvykle mezi drahé přístroje. Projekt je zaměřen na zvýšení selektivity a citlivosti jednoduchých a levných komerčních vodivostních senzorů (tzv. chemirezistorů). Bude provedena experimentální a teoretická studie transportu elektrického náboje a jeho fluktuace v senzoru

Project results evaluation
This project was being realized in the framework of the MOBILITY Activity that aims primarily on establishing and strenghtening ties with foreign research institutions. The control of particular outputs is not implemented by the evalution committee, but the correctness of allocated finances and the adequacy of their use are checked.
