The objectives of the JRP are to develop and deliver standards and procedures suitable to assess and ensure the traceability of the measurement capability of the in-process metrology. These objectives focus on traceable and high accuracy dimensional measurements in the production process in or close to production lines. To accomplish this, the JRP will deliver: a) robust and thermal invariant material standards to determine volumetric and task-specific errors of dimensional measurements on machine toolsunder harsh shop floor environmental conditions; b) procedures to extract kinematic and thermo-mechanical errors in order to improve machine performance and ultimately the manufacturing process; and c) methods to assess both, the measurement performanceand the task-specific measurement uncertainty, which are necessary for inspecting machined parts. The material standards provide the basis for definite go/no-go decision-making that proves whether or not the measuring results lie within the dimensional, form and position tolerances as specified in the design drawing. An effective process control and reliable quality assurance are possible, only if the achievable measurement accuracy is precisely known under the given technical and environmental boundary conditions. To satisfy future production requirements, the methods to be developed target a measuring accuracy of a few ?m within a metre cube.

U - Uspěl podle zadání (s publikovanými či patentovanými výsledky atd.)

  • Project results evaluation

Following the condition that the candidate of financial contribution was evaluated and afterwards selected by international provider in accordance with the rules of the program the Ministry of Education, Youth ans Sports does not realize the evaluation of project results. The project is evaluated only after its approval by an international provider.
