    Vývoj, kombinace, formulace a enkapsulace bioaktivních látk z mikrořas pro péči o pleť

    Česko-Španělský projekt si klade za cíl biotechnologicky, pomocí mikrořas, produkovat bioaktivní látky - Omega -3 kyseliny dokosahexaenovou (DHA) a eikosapentaenovou (EPA), kyselinu arachidonovou (ARA) a karotenoid Astaxanthin. Tyto účinné látky následně stabilizovat a enkapsulovat a na základě jejich kombinace vyvinout kosmetické složky využitelné v oblasti prémiové nutra-kosmetiky a farma-kosmetiky do přípravků pro specifické kožní problémy (akné, lupénka, atopický ekzém, loupající se pokožka). Český projektový partner realizuje vývoj heterotrofní kultivace kmenů produkujících DHA, zvětšení měřítka procesu, extrakci a purifikaci DHA z buněčné biomasy, jakož i screening kmenů mikrořas s potenciálem heterotrofní produkce EPA. Španělští partneři projektu pak zajistí produkci ARA a Astaxanthinu ve fotobioreaktorech, jakož i vývoj směsného enkapsulovaného lipozomálního preparátu.

    A prototype of the DHA-rich oil from microalgae was prepared by the procedure, which has been optimalized within the DIMASKIN project. The product was handed over to the foreign partners together with associated documentation. The effects of additional growth conditions were tested for their potential to further increase production of DHA by microalgae. First emulsions combining the oil, parfums and plant extracts were prepared to be used as ingredients in cosmetic products.
