Annotation in Czech
The main goal is to develop a versatile robotic scanner for non-destructive testing of high performance materials for industries with high quality requirements e.g. space, aerospace or automotive. It will exploit the novel x-ray spectral imaging sensors enabling new diagnostic methods to be used in addition to standard modes. The system will provide the 2D and 3D data on sample µ-structure and composition. It will auto-adapt itself to complex geometries allowing real time scanning in production.

Project results evaluation
A new x-ray robotic system has been developed for 2D and 3D imaging and diagnostics of modern high-performance and composite components, particularly for the aerospace and automotive industries. For this purpose, new imaging sensors and imaging methods were developer. These sensors allow for high-resolution visualization of the composition and microstructure of the samples, capturing potencial defects.
