Project will rigorously examine the concrete advantages of superresolution, find optimized schemes for targeted goals, and experimetally demonstrate added benefits in multiple photonic paradigms. The quantum-inspired measurement techniques developed herein will have equal applicability to quantum and classical measurement problems, greatly broadening their scope of application.

The research team at the Department of Optics of the Faculty of Science, Palacký University in Olomouc, successfully fulfilled all the planned goals of the international QuantERA project ApresSF in the field of quantum metrology, super-resolution and optical imaging inspired by quantum protocols for information processing.
