The proposed research combines the expertise of the two PIs and their groups in the field of wireless communications and networks. Becvar's group focuses on the design of adaptive medium access control protocols for wireless networks. Leshem's research group has significant experience in game theoretic analysis of communication networks in general and cognitive networks in particular. The synergy of complementary expertise and the tight collaboration between the groups will enable the delivery of cutting-edge game theoretic techniques closely connected to dynamic medium access control algorithms that will yield both theoretical and practical solutions.
