Project goals
1. to exam selected aspects of pre-election discourse in Poland and the Czech Republic in the area of political genres, communication strategies and media images of politicians after 1989 2. collection, selection and analysis of the material necessary for conducting research 3. presentation of research results to various target groups: • Polish and Czech scientific environment - seminar and conference • international scientific community – publications • other professional groups - politicians, journalists, marketing employees - a report on the results of research in a popular version • Polish and Czech students - lectures conducted by members of both research groups • interested social groups - a report on the results of research in a popular version 4. to prepare the ground for the next stages of research on the problems analyzed in the project in the wider international research group 5. to deep the existing cooperation between the University of Warsaw at the University of Charles and to establish new scientific contacts

1. analýza vybraných aspektů předvolebního diskurzu v Polsku a České republice v oblasti politických žánrů, komunikačních strategií a mediálních obrazů politiků po roce 1989 2. shromáždění, selekce a analýza materiálů nezbytných pro prováděný výzkum 3. prezentace výsledků výzkumu různým cílovým skupinám: • polské a české vědecké prostředí – odborný seminář a konference • mezinárodní vědecké prostředí – připravované publikační výstupy • další odborné skupiny – politici, novináři, marketingoví pracovníci – výzkumná zpráva prezentovaná populárně-naučnou formou • polští a čeští studenti – přednášky vedené členy obou výzkumných skupin • zájmové skupiny – výzkumná zpráva prezentovaná populárně-naučnou formou 4. příprava půdy pro další fáze výzkumu výše představené problematiky v širší mezinárodní výzkumné skupině prohloubení stávající spolupráce mezi Varšavskou univerzitou a Univerzitou Karlovou a navázání nových vědeckých kontaktů.
