A mosaic of foundational, cross-functional electronics components and systems (ECS) technologies, fostering productivity and sovereignty in Europe, across versatile industrial domains
Annotation in Czech
Confront semiconductor complexity and dependencies, respond to usiness, sustainability and regulatory challenges and deliver self-sufficient ECS technologies, functioning as ground-breaking advancements in automated intelligence across versatile domains, namely automotive, aerospace, maritime, industrial automation and infrastructures. As such, the mission at the core of MOSAIC is to 1) propel Europe to the forefront of innovation in semiconductor technology for automated systems. By fostering a collaborative environment among semiconductor manufacturers, researchers and industry stakeholders, the mission is to develop cutting-edge ECS that empower automated systems to navigate complex real-world scenarios with precision and reliability. 2) Implement system intelligence in CPS to enhance the application performance. However, it is essential to recognize that traditional sensor development alone will not suffice. What is crucial is fostering a multiphysical understanding within diverse contexts, even in unexplored situations. This understanding necessitates automated context adaptation facilitated by distributed sensors. 3) Foster a multiphysical understanding and automated context adaptation with distributed sensors. These sensor advancements enhance system comprehension and response, leading to imrpoved performance and adaptability. This strategic investment aligns with evolving market demands, ensuring competitive advantage and growth by offering superior functionality and efficiency. 4) Use AI as intuitive cognitive reasoning, capable of comprehending causalities and correlations even within scarce data and information sets where human decision-making bay falter. This cognitive ability enhances the system's capacity to understand and respond to its environment effectively.
