The Pilsen region (country) - identification, documentation and presentation traditional elements of folk´s culture at region´s territory
Project goals
The purpuse of this project is identification, documentation and evaluation sources of traditional phenomenons folk´s culture. The knowledge we will get will be used for their retention, giving them to followers and presentation of traditional folk´s culture and its values in Pilsener region, as a komponent of Czech Republic, and also abroad. The project continue after previous research, which took place at museum of Klatovy in 2004 - 2005. The project "The keepers of tradition. The documentation of contemporary craft work in Pilsener region" documented contemporary handicraftsmen and their activity in defined area. Research results will be presented on medium of modern PC technology and of Internet. Presentation will be realized also an exhibition.

Annotation in Czech
Cílem projektu je identifikovat, dokumentovat a zhodnotit prameny dosud existujících jevů tradiční lidové kultury. Získané poznatky budou využity ke svému uchování, předávání následovníkům a k prezentaci tradiční lidové kultury a jejich hodnot v prostoruregionu Plzeňského kraje jako součásti České republiky, i v zahraničí. Projekt navazuje na předchozí výzkumnou etapu, kterou řešilo klatovské muzeum v letech 2004 - 2005. Projekt "Nositelé tradice. Dokumentace současné řemeslné výroby v Plzeňském kraji"zmapoval současné řemeslné výrobce a jejich výrobu ve vymezeném regionu. Výsledky projektu budou prezentovány na nosičích moderní PC techniky a internetu. Prezentace bude realizována i výstavami.

The targets of the project have not been met. The author prepared statistical overviews and did not analyse established data. He only limited himself to manifestations presented in an unnatural environment. Subsequently it has transpired that the authordid not have a clear methodology for acquiring data and also lacked adequate staffing.
