Czech Digital Library and Tools for the Management of Complex Digitization Processes
Project goals
The goal of the project is to create the Czech Digital Library which will aggregate digital libraries in the Czech Republic. It will serve both as a common interface for end users and as a primary data provider for international projects, especially forEuropeana, the European digital library. It will also be an important source of digital data and one of the main pillars needed in order to provide centralized services in the Czech Republic as defined in the proposal of the Library Development Strategyof the Czech Republic for 2011 to 2014.

Cílem projektu je vytvoření České digitální knihovny, která bude agregátorem digitálních knihoven provozovaných v České republice. Project results evaluation
The project achieved all the planned main goals. It had one additional main result (5 in total) whereby its assignment was met. The main goal was achieved and it was not threatened by a lower number of publication outputs. The functional sample "Czech digital library" currently aggregates about two thirds of documents accessible in Czech digital libraries, i.e. over 30 million digital items.
