Výzkumný projekt NAKI II Průmyslové dědictví z pohledu památkové péče navazuje na projekt NAKI Industriální dědictví Moravy a Slezska, zhodnocuje dosažené výsledky, které rozvíjí v podobě navazující specializované mapy s odborným obsahem (Technické památky v Čechách) a s ohledem na aktuální potřebu praxe navrhuje jako výsledek postupné zpracování metodik k tématu průmyslového dědictví. Dalším výstupem, který zhodnocuje předcházející základní terénní a archivní výzkum, budou kritický katalog a monografie k vybraným tématům. Na základě předcházejících zkušeností se pro úspěšné řešení jeví jako nezbytné sledování ochrany, obnovy a nového využití klíčových příkladů průmyslového dědictví v zahraničí.

Project results evaluation
The distinctive progress of the subject matter of this project compared to other research is its interconnection of historic preservation and museum approach. What helped it was the multi-field composition of research team and collaboration of the main organization Methodical centre of industrial heritage of the National trust with Technical museum of Brno. It presents another layer of contemporary trends in historic preservation of cultural heritage by focusing on larger segments of expert public. It also corresponds with methodology of evaluation and preservation of industrial heritage, which is an undoubtedly necessary and most important result of this project. Goals of project were fulfilled with the understandable exception of delaying an exhibition due to the pandemic situation.
