Přestože pozůstatky historických plužin vytvářejí klíčový prvek naší kulturní krajiny, jejich výskyt není v ČR systematicky evidován, a tudíž není dostatečně zajištěna jejich ochrana. V současnosti proto pokračuje jejich znehodnocování a likvidace, často pramenící právě z nedostatku informací o těchto cenných územích nebo z absence principů jejich ochrany.

Project results evaluation
The aim of the project was to provide quality information, primarily to public administration, in order to ensure the qualified protection of these areas. Despite the fact that remnants of historical ploughlands form a key element of our cultural landscape, their occurrence is not systematically documented in the Czech Republic, and therefore their protection is insufficiently ensured. Currently, their degradation and destruction continue due to a lack of information about these valuable areas or the absence of principles for their protection. It can be stated that the achieved results of the project represent a valuable contribution to both applied and fundamental research. The project's outcomes support the development of knowledge for the preservation and development of national and cultural identity in our country.
