Project results evaluation
The project strengthened the research of the Biological Centre of the CAS on plants, environment, agriculture and health safety. The modernisation of research infrastructure (reconstruction and renovation of laboratories and provision of their equipment) helped to raise the level of research in the South Bohemia region and strengthened the position of the Biological Centre of the CAS in the European research area and also internationally. The project also contributed to improving cooperation among research teams within the organisation and supported participation in grant competitions. The project further deepened the already intensive cooperation between scientific institutions located in the region and the closer links between these institutions and the University of South Bohemia through the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Fisheries and Water Conservation and the Faculty of Agriculture.
