    During the project there was created an excellent scientific team under the leadership of a key foreign scientist. It contributed to a better understanding in the field of research of specific factors involved in the regulation of oocyte formation supporting the further development of the embryo and in the study of the importance of primary cilia for early embryonic development. A number of fundamental scientific findings have been achieved in the field of reproduction and early embryonic development of vertebrates. The project also fundamentally contributed to the significant development of international cooperation – four international scientific and research projects were solved within the project and the workers involved in the solution of the project worked closely with three strategic foreign partners from Slovakia, Denmark and Great Britain. There were also informal collaborations with many other foreign workplaces, which resulted in a number of joint publications.
