Cílem projektu je získat špičkového mezinárodně uznávaného vědce jako vedoucího nového ambiciózního výzkumného týmu, který bude rozvíjet výzkum ve vysoce aktuální oblasti studia faktorů ovlivňujících lidské zdraví a kvalitu života. Tento výzkumný tým se skládá z motivovaných mladých jedinců s vynikající vědeckou historií a zkušenostmi ze zahraničního prostředí a disponuje širokou expertízou potřebnou k řešení aktuálních vědeckých výzev vyplývajících ze společenských potřeb současné Evropy.

Project results evaluation
During the project there was acquired an internationally recognized scientist as the head of a new research team, who brought new and much-needed expertise in pharmacokinetic modeling of the behavior of foreign toxic substances in the human body and prediction of their long-term trends. At the same time, several other new workers joined the research team, bringing additional capacities in the field of targeted and non-targeted chemical and toxicological analyses, nutrition, metabolome and microbiome, environmental or social epidemiology. There was introduced new educational program (RETRAIN) to support the career growth of young scientists. There were also signed two cooperation agreements with key partners. The necessary laboratory equipment (especially the key Automatic DNA damage analysis system) was gradually acquired to ensure the maintenance of high quality of biotic and abiotic samples and to increase the capacity of the trace analysis laboratory.
