Projekt posílí dva hlavní pilíře Centra CERIT-SC - hardwarovou infrastrukturu a excelentní výzkum v relevantních oblastech informatiky (tj. know-how nezbytné pro efektivní využití hardwarových prostředků). Masivní investice posunou uživatelům centra dostupný hardware na špičkovou technologickou úroveň a dostatečnou kapacitu obnovené e-infrastruktury. Výzkumné zaměření projektu pak rozšíří úroveň znalostí v oblastech, které byly identifkovány jako kritické z pohledu efektivního využití poskytované e-infrastruktury v multidisciplinárním výzkumu - oblasti zpracování velkých dat a vysoce náročných výpočtů.

Project results evaluation
The project strengthened the two main pillars of the CERIT-SC Center - hardware infrastructure and excellent research in relevant areas of informatics (ie know-how necessary for the efficient use of hardware resources). Massive investments have moved the hardware available to the centre's users to the top technological level and sufficient capacity of the renewed e-infrastructure. The research focus of the project then expanded the level of knowledge in areas that were identified as critical in terms of effective use of e-infrastructure in multidisciplinary research - large data processing and highly demanding calculations.
