Cílem projektu je modernizovat a doplnit stávající experimentální vybavení na Stavební fakultě tak, aby si posluchači zejména doktorských studijních programů mohli prakticky osvojovat nejmodernější experimentální metody, které se používají při zkoušení vlastností stavebních hmot a vývoji nových materiálů. Infrastruktura bude využívána v 10 inovovaných a 9 nových předmětech a kurzu doctoral school programu FMI, ale i pro samostatnou vědeckou činnost doktorandů. V obecné rovině je tedy cílem poskytnout doktorským studentům možnost prakticky si osvojit nejmodernější experimentální metody v oboru fyzikálního a materiálového inženýrství.

Project results evaluation
The goals of the project have been achieved. 8 new infrastructures were acquired and during the project these infrastructures were installed, tested and put into normal operation for teaching and research. There were also carried out construction modifications of the laboratory for electron microscopy. In the laboratory there is installed a set of instruments and other accessories used for this experimental method. Some devices were further upgraded by purchasing additional equipment or add-on software and carrying out above-standard training (beyond the basic training on delivery, which is included in the price of the device). This enables a wider range of uses of the acquired devices and thus expands the possibilities of students' research activities. The acquired infrastructure is used for teaching in innovated and new subjects as well as for research activities.
