Research in Arts and Culture Industries
Project goals
The aim of the project is the preparation and accreditation of the doctoral study program in the Czech language "Research of the Arts and Cultural Industries" which will focus on the education of researchers in the field of audiovisual and scenic production and consumption and on the realization of dissertation projects aimed at the research of individual actors of the cultural field, industry and cultural artifacts and their textual properties. The doctoral program will integrate social sciences, legal and economic disciplines in order to apply them in the framework of dissertation projects focused on the analysis of the situation of the cultural environment in the Czech Republic.

Cílem projektu je příprava a akreditace doktorského studijního programu v českém jazyce "Výzkum umění a kulturních průmyslů", který bude zaměřen na výchovu výzkumných pracovníků v oblasti audiovizuální a scénické produkce a spotřeby a na realizaci disertačních projektů zaměřených na výzkum jednotlivých aktérů kulturního pole, struktur kulturního průmyslu a kulturních artefaktů a jejich textuálních vlastností. Uvedený doktorský studijní program bude integrovat sociálně-vědní, právní a ekonomické disciplíny za účelem jejich aplikace v rámci disertačních projektů zaměřovaných na analýzu situace kulturního prostředí v ČR.

Project results evaluation
During the project, there was created and accredited the doctoral study program Study of Cultural Industries. This program was prepared in cooperation with academics and representatives of cultural practice from abroad and the Czech Republic, as well as with representatives of public administration, including some European administrative institutions. In the course of the project, there were supported students' practice and internships with their future employers. The project also contributed to inter-institutional collaboration of key research and academic staff.
