Cílem projektu je rozvoj a modernizace 9 stávajících DSP a zavedení 3 nových DSP, dosažení jejich akreditace a zahájení výuky. V obou případech projekt ustaví takové kurikulum, které absolventům umožní získat reálně aplikovatelné odborné znalosti s interdisciplinárním přesahem, vyšší samostatnost a další dovednosti, zejména jako předpokladu pro dosahování nadprůměrných výsledků v základním nebo průmyslovém výzkumu a schopnosti pružně reagovat vyvíjející se požadavky trhu práce.

Project results evaluation
The main goal of the project at the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague is to modernize, to develop and to expand the existing doctoral study programs (DSP) and to introduce three new DSPs, always in both Czech and English, to achieve their accreditation by the National Accreditation Office (NAO) and to start studies. The key activity Modernization of research-oriented study programs at UCT Prague included the modernization of the originally nine existing DSPs, which was increased to 12 modernized DSPs during the project implementation. Within the key activities, three new DSPs (Bioinformatics, Food and Natural Products and Molecular Chemical Physics and Sensors) were prepared including their English equivalents. The new DSPs received accreditation from the NAO for a period of 10 years and teaching began in the academic year 2020/2021.
