Project results evaluation
Within the project, a total of 6 outbound and 2 inbound mobility were carried out. The project involved scientists from various fields. E.g. mobility Ing. Jana Zárubová PhD. enabled the scientist to gain experience in biomedical engineering at the prestigious American University, UCLA. During the stay, there was a deepening knowledge of extracellular vesicles, which he has been dealing with for a long time and, for example, the biomechanics of the microenvironment and its effect on the cell. She learned useful techniques such as micropatternation, which can be used to navigate cells, and during her work she was used to orient vascular capillaries. During her stay, she established many contacts with foreign scientists. The scientist is still in contact with her mentor Professor Li, with whom she is preparing several publications. Thanks to her extensive experience, she was able to enrich the FGÚ with new techniques, which she learned at UCLA and passed on her experience to colleagues.
