Project results evaluation
The project enabled the acquisition of technological equipment in the field of informatics, robotics, cybernetics and advanced industrial production systems. Dynamic developments necessitated the inclusion of new items as well as the cancellation of obsolete and no longer needed items and changes in specifications, numbers and configurations of planned equipment. The changes were reflected in key documents, the technology list and the procurement list including the schedule. The final list of technology purchases includes more than 300 items of technology equipment in both hardware and software categories. The technologies procured varied widely, from small items to complex technology units, both capital and non-capital. As the new technologies were gradually put into operation, the laboratories were also connected and the two nodes of the distributed testbed were integrated with the already established German node in Saarbruecken (joint testbed of DFKI and ZeMA).
