Project results evaluation
The project research was divided into three independent research activities and resulted in more than three dozen scientific publications. The research results also led to the preparation of an international PCT patent application, the acceptance of 2 utility models and 2 functional samples. The research activities have included the development of 3D cell culture and drug testing devices, bioadhesive and anti-adhesive surfaces for biomedical applications and diagnostics, synthesis of new types of dendrimers, hybrid materials for catalysis and separation processes, computer modelling of bioactive surfaces and hybrid materials. During the project, there was established a strategic cooperation with the Association of Nanotechnology Industry of the Czech Republic, z.s. focused on know-how transfer in the field of nanotechnology and with the company Pardam in the field of nanofibrous materials.
