(UniCRE) a UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o., která bude v oblasti chemických a příbuzných technologiích garantovat dlouhodobou mezisektorovou spolupráci výzkumu s aplikační sférou se zaměřením na výzkum chemických procesů transformace surovinových zdrojů v regionu na tzv. zelené chemikálie.

    The project contributed to deepening the cooperation among research organisations and the application sphere, not only through joint research and the establishment and development of joint research centres, but also, for example, through the preparation and implementation of joint promotional activities. The project research itself was divided into the following parts: Pyrolysis of waste substrates - surplus biomass and waste plastics; Esterification and transesterification of oils and fatty acids with bioethanol to biofuels with a high degree of sustainability; Dehydration of bioethanol to "green" ethylene as part of petrochemical ethylene pyrolysis; Effect of pyrolysis product on corrosion of structural materials. The findings obtained during the collaborative research were presented in the form of nearly a dozen publications in peer-reviewed journals.
