Zajistit maximální udržitelnost tradičních směrů výzkumu, ve kterých ústav v minulosti dosáhl vysokého mezinárodního uznání; Identifikovat nové směry výzkumu s vysokým potenciálem mezinárodní spolupráce; Zvýšit dynamiku výzkumu, zintenzivnit stávající mezinárodní spolupráce a navázat nové spolupráce; V případě domácích grantových agentur zvýšit úspěšnost podávaných grantových návrhů a diverzifikovat zdroje financování; V případě mezinárodních grantových agentur pravidelně podávat grantové návrhy odpovídající kvality; Zvýšit přitažlivost výzkumu v oboru věd o Zemi i pro studenty mimo fakulty s tradiční geofyzikální výukou a fakulty mimo Prahu, či mladé vědecké pracovníky (postdoktorandy) ze zahraničí.

Project results evaluation
During the project, there were 2 arrivals of foreign scientists and 6 departures of scientists to research institutions in Germany, France, Denmark and Great Britain. The topics of the research mobilities included areas related to the activities of the Institute of Geophysics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, specifically research in geodynamics, geothermal or seismic research. The project contributed to the deepening and intensification of cooperation with foreign research workplaces and to the mutual exchange and sharing of experience and information between the participating entities.
