Projekt usiluje o další zlepšení kapacit, znalostí a dovedností pracovníků Fyzikálního ústavu AV ČR (FZÚ) tak, aby FZÚ mohl v plném rozsahu rozvinout svůj potenciál ve výzkumu a vývoji a posílit svoji roli excelentního pracoviště na národní i mezinárodní úrovni. Cílem projektu je strategicky nastavit a stimulovat rozvoj v šesti klíčových oblastech fungování FZÚ, a to především v oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů, řízení a hodnocení výzkumné organizace, transferu technologií, mezinárodní spolupráce a popularizace vědy. Dalšími důležitými cíli projektu jsou také další aktivity pro zajištění genderové rovnosti, významné rozvinutí otevřeného přístupu k vědeckým informacím a zvýšení obecného povědomí o významu a přínosu fyziky pro společnost.

Project results evaluation
The STIMUL project has significantly contributed to improving the capacity, knowledge and skills of the staff of the Institute of Physics of the CAS (IP) and strengthened the position of the Institute at national and international level. During the project, there were created and implemented tools for career management and development. The project also helped to increase and deepen the qualification and personal development of IP employees, to improve and expand grant support at the IP and to set up systemic support in the area of gender equality. There was implemented an internal evaluation of the research and professional activities of IP using an international advisory body and an evaluation of the internal processes of administrative and support activities in the organisation. The legal service in the area of international cooperation was enhanced and the transfer of good practices from abroad in the areas of management and internal administration of the Institute was ensured.
