Cílem projektu je vytvořit kvalitní výkonnou jednotku Smart Accelerator, která bude disponovat dostatečnými kapacitami jak z hlediska lidských zdrojů, tak z hlediska financí pro zajištění kvalitní řízení a koordinaci opatření vedoucích k rozvoji vědy, výzkumu a inovací ve městě. Dílčími cíli jsou: podpořit vznik a rozvoj MSP znalostně intenzivních firem, rozvíjet lidské zdroje a zvyšovat internacionalizaci v oblasti vědy a výzkumu.

Project results evaluation
The implementation of the Prague Smart Accelerator project was focused on the development of the Prague innovation ecosystem, in accordance with the National RIS3 Strategy and its regional annex for the Capital City of Prague. The partner with financial contribution was the Prague Innovation Institute. The aim of the project was to create a high quality SmAcc executive unit with sufficient capacity in terms of both human resources and finance to ensure quality management and coordination of measures leading to the development of science, research and innovation in the city. The project supported the creation and development of knowledge-intensive small and medium-sized enterprises, the development of human resources and, last but not least, the increase of internationalisation in the field of science and research. The monitoring indicators and results of the project were not achieved to the full extent planned, but the stated purpose of the project was fulfilled.
