    The project focused on pre-application research in the field of medical applications, design and testing of new compounds in preclinical drug development, socio-economic analysis in the field of neurodegeneration and the implementation of new diagnostic procedures using high-throughput ICT to evaluate advanced imaging methods. The first project focused on the development of drugs targeting neurodegenerative diseases associated with mitochondrial dysfunction. The second project developed a web-based application using economic, statistical and decision-making methods to illustrate the impact of research approaches. The third project dealt with computer recognition of pathological processes and diagnosis of diseases in the field of neurodegeneration and intestinal oncology based on graphical image analysis. The project also involved the construction modifications and the acquisition of instrumentation HW and SW equipment to enable the integration of the IT and biomedical fields.
