During the project, there were implemented measures to improve the quality of the student grant competition. There was introduced a unified expert panel with foreign evaluators, which increased the transparency and objectivity of the evaluation of submitted projects. Mandatory international and interdisciplinary cooperation has contributed to improving the quality of doctoral project outputs and to better preparing students for practice or scientific careers. Interdisciplinary cooperation has also led to a more efficient use of the University's research infrastructure, thanks to the creation of research teams made up of students from different faculties and university institutes. There has also been an increase in the duration of grants. Several outreach events have been organised. The method of evaluation and public defence increased the objectivity of grant competitions and made them more competitive and attractive.
