Modelling the sleeping brain: towards a neural mass model of sleep rhythms and their interactions
Project goals
The aim of the project is to support the development of human resources for Czech research in computational neuroscience. The Institute of Informatics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, v. v. i., will support the "no money" project MSCA-IF mobility from the Czech Republic. The project has the following objectives: 1) an employee of II will represent the organisation during mobility and thus czech science not only by the results of his work, but also by active participation in international conferences and forums; 2) within the return phase, he/she will pass on the knowledge and experience achieved by organising seminars, workshops and study groups. The project will also contribute to achieving the long-term goal of increasing the international prestige of the II and thus the prestige of czech science as such.

Na Ústavu informatiky AV ČR, v. v. i., bude podpořen "no money" projekt MSCA-IF výjezd z ČR.

Project results evaluation
There took place one outbound researcher mobility. The researcher was supported on the basis of a previously submitted project to the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action – Individual Fellowships (MSCA-IF) call, which was not supported due to low financial allocation. The researcher completed his 24 months lasting internship at the host institution Technische Universitat Berlin. The research was focused on the field of computational neuroscience. The project contributed both to the development of the researcher and also to deepening the international cooperation of the Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences, v. v. i.
