Project results evaluation
The project focused on research into the possibility of reducing the weight of the chassis of an electric train unit. The acquired new knowledge was followed by the development of a prorotype for the chassis of an electric train unit with an inner frame. Innovative elements of the project included research into the use of non-standard material for the side member or the variety of uses of friction brake types.
