Thanks to the surface treatment of the pump, consisting in the application of a nanolayer of chemically resistant material (zirconium nitride, ZrN), it will be possible to use such treated pumps for aggressive chemicals. At present, pumps with Teflon parts are used for such purposes. The multi-stage pumping system makes it possible to pump the refrigerant without any residue, to push it into a cylinder and, if necessary, to reuse it after cleaning. This brings both economic and environmental effects for users, especially refrigeration service providers.
