Cílem projektu je vývoj optimalizované technologie torrefikace pro malé a mobilní jednotky, která bude zaměřena na zpracování nízkoenergetických odpadů z potravinářských, rostlinných a živočišných výrob, a na produkty s vyšším energetickým potenciálem. Díky technologii torrefikace dojde ke snížení vlhkosti, sterilizaci odpadů a současně ke zvýšení jejich energetického potenciálu, což znamená rozšíření využitelnosti těchto upravených odpadů jako obnovitelných zdrojů energie.

Project results evaluation
The aim of the project was to develop an optimized torrefaction technology for small and mobile units, which was focused on the processing of basic types of agricultural raw materials, and the conversion of these renewable energy sources into products with higher energy potential. Within the project, all set goals and results were achieved - Proven technology of torrefaction of low-energy waste from food, plant and animal production + Pilot plant: Design and construction of a new technology of torrefication, which will be installed in IET premises in VŠB-TUO. outputs of the solved project in the current practice of the beneficiary is obvious. The aim of the project was the development of optimized torrefaction technology for small and mobile units focused on the processing of low-energy waste from food, plant and animal production, and for products with higher energy potential.
