Cílem projektu je modernizace stávající výpočetní kapacity infrastruktury CNC. Realizována bude pořízením dvou nových počítačových serverů, které budou sloužit i jako datové úložiště a které nahradí dva stávající starší servery (pro poskytování veřejných a interních služeb). Pravidelná obnova výpočetní techniky je nezbytná nejenom pro zachování robustnosti a spolehlivosti infrastruktury, ale vzhledem k vývoji v oblasti ICT povede také ke zvýšení její výpočetní a datové kapacity.

Project results evaluation
The project enabled the modernization of the CNC infrastructure's IT systems by replacing three older servers from 2018 and 2021 with two new ones. This has resulted in an increase in the data and computing capacity of this research infrastructure, which is used by more than 6,000 users.
