Research of recombinant protein for immunoprophylaxis of pigs against circovirus disease
Project goals
The goal of the project is the development of vaccine against circovirus disease of pigs based on the recombinant nucleoprotein of the virus. Testing and optimization of growth properties of the production E. coli strain, expression of recombinant protein, extensive purification and stabilization of recombinant protein for the construction of final vaccine. Thorough testing of the vaccine against cirkovirus disease of pigs in the target species, with a focus on safety and efficacy. The vaccine must comply with the relevant Pharmacopoeia articles.

Cílem řešení projektu je výzkum vakcíny proti cirkovirovému onemocnění prasat založené na rekombinantním nukleoproteinu cirkoviru prasat 2 jako antigenu. Dokonalé ověření růstových schopností produkčního kmene E.coli, exprese rekombinantního proteinu, jeho dokonalá purifikace a stabilizace pro účely sestrojení finální vakcíny. Dokonalé ověření vakcíny proti cirkovirovému onemocnění prasat na cílovém druhu zvířat, se zaměřením na neškodnost a účinnost. Výsledná vakcína musí vyhovovat příslušným článkům Lékopisu.
