Completed project evaluation

  • Provider evaluation

V - Vynikající výsledky projektu (s mezinárodním významem atd.)

  • Project results evaluation

The project has achieved outstanding results and offers significant societal benefits. Its outputs incorporate innovative elements, including the use of virtual reality (VR). The project bridges existing medical knowledge with the rapidly evolving fields of virtual and augmented reality, delivering practical results and opening up new avenues for research in this area. A marked shift in brain plasticity and increased mirror neuron activity were demonstrated during VR-based exercises compared to standard exercises—providing objective evidence that VR enhances the treatment of certain neurodegenerative conditions (such as Parkinson’s disease and post-stroke recovery). VR-based exercises yielded faster results than standard exercises and proved more engaging for patients. The project’s outcomes have exceeded the established goals.
