Project results evaluation
The project has achieved all of its stated objectives and the project outputs have the potential for economic benefit to the project developer. In line with The Country for the Future programme, the innovation of the company's process in the form of precision machinery, i.e. edge banding machine and format saw, for high quality cutting and banding and the extension of the large format cutting capability using digital measuring and control elements was successfully put into practice. A product innovation in the form of a new bedside table with integrated wireless charging was successfully introduced. An organisational innovation in the form of furniture CAD software was successfully introduced to digitise production planning and engineering. The purchase of 3D CAD software enabled the digitisation of production documentation including the creation of 3D product models and introduced a new order management and production preparation system.
