Improving the production process and products at ViRa ChemImp s.r.o.

Project goals

The aim of this project is to introduce a new process for the production of chemicals using flow chemistry together with the acquisition of analytical equipment, which is necessary for proper monitoring of syntheses. Furthermore, the aim of the project is to create a process for the production of new substances and their samples with verification of quality and waste products in order to minimize waste substances.

    While the project did not achieve all of its objectives, the outputs of the project have the potential to be of economic benefit to the project developer. The process innovation relates to the application of flow chemistry for the preparation of chemicals that are otherwise difficult to produce, using purchased operational and measurement equipment. The process innovation for the production of flow chemistry has been implemented, but without automatic analysis of syntheses using new instruments (in particular a new chromatograph). These analyses are carried out partly on the older chromatograph and partly by subcontracting, the functionality of the process is assured, but the innovation has not reached the planned level. The beneficiary has achieved three upgraded products out of four planned.
