The technique, function, style and context of Italian drawing of High Renaissance and Mannerism

Project goals

Research into and assessment of the originality of Italian drawings from the late 15th and the early 16th century from the public collections in the Czech Republic. The description of the drawings, the determination of authorship and possibly their attribution to some of the local schools and dating are closely related to the examination of their technique, function and style, as well as to the context in which these works on paper originated.
