Experimentally functional levitation of a single (pre)charged grain within the hyperbolic quadrupole trap and its bombardment with beams of charged particles was enriched by surface potential calculations for dust grains in different plasma environments.8 plus one review article were dedicated. The new exp.& theor. approach approves the final judgment of the project as excellent.
